The Transitions Championship is a men's professional golf tournament on the PGA Tour, and is played annually on the Copperhead Course at Innisbrook Resort and Golf Club in Palm Harbor, Florida.

The tournament was founded in 2000 as the Tampa Bay Classic while it was originally an alternate event played the same week as the Presidents Cup in 2000. This year the competition will be taking place at the Innisbrook Resort and Golf Club located at Tampa Bay Florida. In terms of money, this tournament is more attractive for the players. From the last three editions of this tournament we can recall that the United States was in the first place a total of two times. We can remember that Retief Goosen (South Africa) won the competition in 2008 with 276 (-8to par), while Sean O'Hair (USA) won on 2008 with a score of 280 (-4 to par) and Mark Calcavecchia (USA) won the competition on 2007 also with a score of 274 (-10 to par).
