Tuesday (March 31st)
Professional practice rounds all day. Cameras are only permitted Monday through Wednesday. No cameras allowed during official rounds. (Thurs-Sun.)
Wednesday (April 1st)
Morning Grand Pro-Am competition on Tournament Course, No. 1 and No. 10 tees, from approxmiately 7-9 AM. Awards luncheon in the Redstone Golf Club Clubhouse, following play. Afternoon Grand Pro-Am competition on Tournament Course, No. 1 and No. 10 tees, from noon to 2 PM. Awards reception in the Redstone Golf Club Clubhouse, following play. Additional Shell Houston Open Pro-Am on the Member Course at Redstone Golf Club, 11 AM shotgun start. Awards reception in the Redstone Golf Club Clubhouse, following play.
Thursday (April 2) First Round
Starting field of 144 of the world's best golfers begin play for $5.7 million in prize money. Tee times off No.1 and No.10 tees from approximately 7-8:50 AM. and 11:30 AM - 1:20 PM. GOLF CHANNEL coverage 3-5 PM.
Friday (April 3) Second Round
Tee times again off No.1 and No.10 tees from approximately 7-8:50 AM and 11:30 AM -1:20 PM. Following completion of 36 holes, field will be trimmed to the low 60 scores and ties for the final rounds. GOLF CHANNEL coverage 3-5 PM.
Saturday (April 4) Third Round
Tee times from approximately 8:30 AM -12:45 PM off No. 1 tee only. NBC Sports coverage (2-5 PM).
Sunday (April 5) Championship Round
Tee times from approximately 8:30 AM.-12:45 PM. off No.1 tee only. NBC Sports coverage (2-5 PM). Awards Ceremony on the 18th green immediately following the determination of a champion at approximately 5 p.m.

The course has some characteristics that make this place a really challenging course to dominate. It has a length of 7457 yards and is designed to be par 72. The layout is carved out of woodlands lush with oak, pine and cypress trees.
This course is also very attractive because if offer the possibility to normal non-professional players to play on a daily fee and in that way, everyone can tee up where the professionals play.

The area that surrounds the course is full of wetlands with flowers and also the course is built so the fans can walk all along the nine in order to follow all the action as it goes.
2010 HOUSTON OPEN RESULTS
Anthony Kim got the first place at the tournament with an impressive final score of -12. The impressive result also shows that the rest of the players took the tournament to another level showing scores really similar to the one that Kim scored. Anthony Kim was followed by Vaughn Taylor with a -12 also and then Schwartzel, DeLaet and Micheel complete the first 5 places at the leaderboard.
