2011 Barclays Tournament
The Barclays is a professional golf competition that is part of the PGA Tour. The tournament began in 1967 as the Westchester Classic and it was played at the Westchester Country Club in Rye, New York from 1967 to 2007. Beginning in 1976 it underwent a series of name sponsorships (detailed below); the name of the event has evolved to the point that, since 1990, it no longer contained the name of its host course or location. Like many such events that have undergone a series of name changes over the years, among golfers on tour and many fans it was known by its traditional name, "The Westchester."
Heath Slocum is the defending champion. He is expected to give some hard competition to the rest of the players but on the other hand we can see that Tiger Woods is not going to miss the opportunity to get in the first places at this competition.
Here we can admire the whole schedule of the competition. It does not hide anything in particular besides any other major professional golf competition but is always important to know what is going on in the days of the competition.
